Love the quotes and the format. One inspiring quote is from Bill Cosby, so that should be updated. Awwwkward.
I love the quote/writing on each left-side page. It's a more personal type of journal. If you are into needing more space to write a ton, this may not be for you as every other page is taken up with a quote. But I bought my first one in person, at a store, I knew what I was getting before I bought my second one here on Amazon. It's my journal to cheer me up which is how the makers kind of intended it to be. And they even include a built-in bookmark! Which I love! The price is the only thing I dislike but I imagine it costs this much due to all the color printing involved for all the left-sided pages. Overall, pretty cool journal for those that like to rate their days and need an inspriational, if not funny, quote to help them get through the day.
I wasn't really sure what to expect... I was sort of looking for a prompted journal - answer a question per day but elaborate not a quick 1 sentence entry. This is more of an open forum, the daily prompt is basically what are you hanging on hope today.... I've actually enjoyed this far more than I e ever expected.... a great way to dump all my worries onto paper before bed. Will reorder when it's full :)
Love this journal! Minus one star because I had to reorder it after the first one I ordered came damaged with the binding coming apart. However, the second one I received has been great and I love all the little quotes in the book. Great, thick pages and easy to transport. Just a reminder that because of the quotes there are less pages to write, so not every page is double sided.
Gave this as a gift for a friend of mine's daughter who unfortunately, as a teen, is going through more stress than any child should. She absolutely loves it. She loves that she can just write anything that is on her mind with no one there to judge her. She also tells me that all of the motivational quotes on each page is very helpful & uplifting.
As a chronic worrier, I am so excited about this journal. I wrote in it the first time yesterday after a stressful (and highly anxiety-causing) meeting. I love the little quotes and how you're prompted to find the positive in your worries. I will definitely get a lot of use out of it!
I bought this for a relative whose been having a hard go of it. The front kind of acknowledges in a very realistic manner how disastrous one's perspective can get when life is a wee bit out of control, at the same time, it pokes fun at that perspective- making the journal something pretty wonderful. It acknowledges a problem without being severe about it. The inside quotes and wonderful and inspiration without being preachy. it lays flat- which I find wonderful, and the lines are well spaced out for ease of writing. Overall, a fantastic journal for anyone.
